Dave has been teaching SCUBA since 1990. He was originally certified in 1988 and has over 5000 logged dives. Dave has trained more than 10,000 students — including seal kids, Girl Scouts, local fireman and police officers, families and even movie stars. Dave’s philosophy on teaching every student is unique and different. He approaches every student differently but makes sure it fun, enjoyable, and safe. Dave’s favorite dive destinations are Little Cayman and Roatan.
Born into a family of Scuba divers Garry earned his PADI Open Water Diver Certification at the age of 10. Since then Garry has traveled to over a dozen countries for scuba diving. Some of his personal favorites include the Cayman Islands, Cozumel, and Fiji, or as he likes to put it, “Anywhere the waters warm”. Most days you can find Garry at Below H2O Scuba eager to help the next generation of divers get their feet wet.
Dan was first certified in 2007 and has been instructor since 2015 and a Tec instructor since 2016. He has fondness for Project Aware and saving our waters for future generations. He loves the PADI Tec/Rec program and enjoys diving in out of places diving deep. Dan became an instructor to share the aquatic life through only taking pictures and only leaving bubbles – SCUBA diving all over the world, especially the Great Lakes.
After more than 25 years of active SCUBA diving, Paul opted to became an instructor in order share his talents and passion for the sport. He prides himself on patience with new students along as well as his attention to detail. Safety is paramount in Paul’s teaching style. He is an active underwater videographer and loves to be ‘up close and personal’ with sea life. Paul has had the opportunity to dive in many places around the world but call the Philippines and Thailand as his favorites.
Andrew’s love for the water began at an early age. Every opportunity he had during the summer he would ride his bike to the local pool and that’s where he’d stay until the pool closed. His love for the ocean deepened after he joined the Navy and did a deployment overseas on a nuclear-powered submarine. Andrew agrees with one of Jacques Cousteau’s famous quotes: “The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”
Becoming a certified diver in September of 2012, Andrew has followed his passion since and is eager to help others learn how to Scuba dive as well. He is also a huge advocate for keeping our oceans healthy and clean.
